ABOUT THE HOUSE
In French, Maison means “house.” In the luxury world, it is the word the great houses use to signal that what they make is not product, it is lineage. A Maison has a point of view. A Maison has standards. A Maison is built to outlast its founder.
We created Maison Jean as a modern house of operators, creatives, and specialists who understand these industries through lived experience. A space shaped by vision, craft, artistry, and identity.
The name Jean carries a personal legacy. It is the founders middle name and her daughter’s, representing continuity, longevity, and the desire to build work that lasts beyond a single season.
Maison Jean was built to support founders in refining businesses with depth. Brands that feel operationally sound, visually distinct, emotionally resonant, and designed for long-term evolution.
A modern consulting house for founders building enduring brands.
Maison Jean was founded by Natalie Sams, an operator, aesthetician, and creative strategist with two decades of experience inside the wellness and aesthetics industry.
She began her career in 2005 as an aesthetician, spending the years that followed immersed in the operational and creative layers of service-based businesses. Her experience spans treatment room work, spa and salon management, luxury brand consulting, team development, client experience design, and the day-to-day realities of scaling a modern service company from the inside out.
In 2015, she founded LoftMD in Baltimore, building it into one of the region’s most recognized aesthetics and wellness brands through a distinct point of view rooted in thoughtful operations, elevated client experience, and long-term brand development.
Through Maison Jean, Natalie now works with founders across wellness, aesthetics, and hospitality, helping refine businesses with greater clarity, structure, and longevity. Her approach is grounded in lived experience as an owner and operator, bringing together service programming, operational flow, brand positioning, and the emotional intelligence required to build enduring businesses in deeply human industries.
Her work centers on helping founders create brands that feel operationally sound, visually distinct, emotionally resonant, and designed to evolve with time.
Maison Jean is a practice. As the house grows, the operators, creatives, and specialists who join it will be introduced here. Each is selected for lived experience, for a clear point of view, and for the care they bring to the work.
